Junior STEM
Ages 6 - 11

Schedule a Tour

Our Junior STEM program welcomes children aged 6-12 to discover the world of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through engaging hands-on activities that ignite their curiosity.

FLEX Assistance
Grades 6 - 12

Students attend our in-person lab on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9 AM–3 PM, where they stay on track with coursework, get help when needed, and build strong work habits in a focused setting.

Project-Based Pathways
Grades 6 - 12

Starting in the 2026–2027 school year, iBuild Academy is launching a full-time,  private school program designed for students who need more than a traditional classroom. This program is designed for students who learn best by doing, creating, and exploring—while still staying on track academically.

Meet the Founder

Dr. Sue Bedard is an innovative educator and founder of iBuild Academy, a nonprofit STEM learning center dedicated to hands-on, project-based learning. A 2013 Apple Distinguished Educator, 2013 NMC K-12 Ambassador, and 2012 Google Certified Educator, she brings decades of classroom and higher education experience to her work. Her honors include Florida Business Teacher of the Year (2006) and multiple 2007 recognitions, including Volusia County Teacher of the Year Finalist, Female Teacher of the Year, and Pine Ridge High School Teacher of the Year. Under her leadership, iBuild Academy has been named 2019 Non-Profit of the Year by the West Volusia Regional Chamber of Commerce, a 2020 FETC STEM Excellence Awards Finalist, and 2023 Best of Florida Summer Camps, impacting over 1,000 students since 2015.
